My first introduction to Marguerite’s Place was through my local parish many years ago. Since then, my husband and I have been passionate supporters of their mission, programming, and empowering outreach that enables women and their children to achieve lasting independence and stability.
Reflecting on my time as a new board member, I’ve had the opportunity to learn the countless ways, large and small, that our dedicated staff and volunteers help support, build up, and transform the lives of our MP families.
Understanding these efforts has provided me with an even deeper perspective and greater sense of purpose in my role as a board member.
After being widowed at the age of 39 with four young children, I came to understand the important role a loving community plays in helping families heal and rebuild their lives. Marguerite’s Place truly builds a loving community for these moms and their children. I feel blessed for the opportunity to contribute to this important mission. My sincere and heartfelt thanks to all who make our mission possible.

From Welcome Home to What’s Next: A year of progress for Danielle and her family
Last Mother’s Day, you helped give Danielle and her children something every family deserves: a safe place to begin again.
After leaving behind a painful chapter, they arrived at Marguerite’s Place ready for a fresh start. Because of your support, Danielle was able to safely remove her children from an abusive environment and step into a home where they could finally breathe and heal together.
That fresh start has led to meaningful progress for their entire family.

We’re proud to share that our Early Childhood Program earned the Granite Steps for Quality (GSQ) Level 3 distinction, an honor achieved by only 10 programs out of nearly 800 across New Hampshire!
This places our program in the top 1% for quality statewide and reflects our deep commitment to providing high-quality early learning experiences for every child in our care.
