This year’s Annual Impact Report reflects what is possible when a community commits to stability, dignity, and long-term solutions. Because of your partnership, families experiencing homelessness were not only sheltered—they were supported in building a foundation for lasting change.
At Marguerite’s Place, we believe stable housing is the starting point, not the finish line. When families have a safe place to live, children can focus on learning, parents can focus on work and healing, and the daily stress of uncertainty begins to ease.
Over the past year, your support made that stability possible for families navigating some of life’s most challenging transitions.
The impact shared in this report goes beyond numbers. It reflects consistency—families maintaining housing, children experiencing routine and care, and parents gaining the footing needed to move forward.
While we are proud of this progress, the need in our community continues to grow. In the years ahead, we remain focused on expanding responsibly, strengthening our programs, and sustaining the quality and accountability that define our work.
Home, Sweet Home: Transitional Housing
Transitional housing serves as a bridge between crisis and long-term independence. More than shelter, it provides families with the stability needed to establish routines, regain confidence, and begin planning for a future rooted in possibility. The unexpected benefits of safe, individual housing—improved health, stronger family relationships, and increased focus on education and employment—become evident when families are no longer consumed by the uncertainty of where they will sleep each night.
Supporting Children: Early childhood Education
2025 was a year of incredible growth and achievement for our childcare program. We are so proud that we advanced 2 steps in the statewide licensure program. This was possible due to the work of our staff and Pyramid Model leadership team and their commitment to high-quality early learning and continuous improvement.
Building Connections: Community programs
Community programs address a critical gap for families experiencing homelessness: rebuilding community while gaining the skills needed for long-term independence. In transitional housing, isolation is common. Community programming exists to help families rebuild their “village” — relationships, routines, and confidence that last well beyond their time at Marguerite’s Place.
Personalized Support: Case Management
Case management is a critical part of residential programming at Marguerite’s Place. From the moment a family moves in, Phase 1 begins with an emphasis on the first 90 days of building safety, stability, and trust. Residents meet weekly with their case manager to identify their goals, name their needs, and build a plan forward. Mental health care, parenting support, education, employment, and routines at home—each plan is individualized and led by what the family wants for their future.
