We’re adrenaline-filled and thrilled to participate in our 3rd Over the Edge fundraiser in partnership with United Way!
Marguerite’s Place edger, Erin Nicholas.
This event isn’t your ordinary charity 5k. We’re stepping up and going OVER THE EDGE for Marguerite’s Place families, literally. Our fearless team of “edgers” is raising funds and awareness to support our mission by committing to rappel down the 300-foot Brady Sullivan building in Manchester on June 28th!
Meet our Team
Chad Ledoux
“Would you rappel 24 stories because you believe in a cause? I would! This summer, I am once again going Over the Edge in support of Marguerite’s Place! Please donate and help me support the mission of Marguerite’s Place to build a strong, vibrant community by strengthening families through their housing, childcare and community programs”
Max Tucci
“I’m going Over the Edge with the Marguerite’s Place Team because I believe that an investment into Marguerite’s Place is an investment into the future of New Hampshire. It is so important that we recognize the work that is done to help women and children achieve self-sufficiency, and that’s why I am motivated to help them reach their goals.”
Erin Nicholas
“For the second year in a row, I signed up to rappel the Brady Sullivan building to support Marguerite’s Place. I’m inspired to fundraise for their mission because I believe every family deserves safety. Marguerite’s Place provides that (and so much more) to families who need it most — those experiencing homelessness. I can’t think of a better reason to go Over the Edge.” Support Erin’s climb to the top!
Kevin Cloutier
“Since joining the Marguerite’s Place Board, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible impact this organization has on our community. It’s amazing to see families achieve and maintain self-sufficiency through their programs, and the money raised through Over the Edge will support their proven track record of addressing homelessness, financial literacy, mental health, and cycles of trauma in our community.”
Bring Kevin’s fundraising to new heights!
Brian Hall – PRL, Ltd. “Toss the Boss” Challenge
PRL signed up for a “Toss the Boss” challenge: if the company hits its fundraising goal, PRL CEO Brian Hall goes over the edge — or he can match the total donations and send someone rappelling in his place!
“As the CEO of PRL, and a Board member for Marguerite’s Place, the PRL Volunteer Committee reached out to me this year with the notion of Toss the Boss. It is a challenge for PRL to help me reach my fundraising goal to send me Over the Edge – and let me tell you, I am terrified of heights. I agreed to it for two reasons. One is to raise awareness for Marguerite’s Place’s drive and mission, and the other is to attempt to conquer my fear of heights as I rappel down the side of the tallest building in Manchester, NH.” Help toss Brian over the edge!
How YOU Can Help
(And remain on solid ground!)
You don’t need to rappel down a building to support Marguerite’s Place families. But we are challenging you to step up and donate to our Over the Edge campaign.
When you contribute to any team member, you directly support under-resourced families who show their determination and bravery every day at Marguerite’s Place.
Won’t you step up, too? Please donate generously to the Marguerite’s Place Team or the edger of your choice.
Also, be sure to join us in Manchester on event day as we cheer on our intrepid team members and enjoy a post-rappel celebration at Murphy’s Taproom. See you on July 28th!
